Using HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure)

You can use HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) if you already set up the depot server for HTTPS and installed a certificate.  

How to activate HTTPS on a depot:

1. Select the Infrastructure view.
2. Unlock the Infrastructure database.
3. Switch to Expert Mode in the Tool bar.
4. Select the depot's object in the Navigation window.
5. Open the Configuration tab in the Object window.
6. Change the path from http:// to https:// in the configuration table section Depot > HTTP URL.
7. Lock the Infrastructure database to save the settings.
