Controlling Management Applications

The Management Point administers various management applications. These applications are controlled in the DSMC using the Management Point's Properties dialog.
In the Properties dialog, it is possible to inspect the installation status of individual applications of the Management Point. Depending on the status, you can then update, uninstall, or install these accordingly.

How to control the status of the applications of the Management Point:

1. Open the Properties dialog of the Management Point that you wish to control.

   In the Applications tab you see which management applications are installed for the Management Point and which status they have (installed, not installed, incompletely installed, out-of-date).

2. Select or deselect the applications you want to install or uninstall on the Management Point.
3. Confirm your settings by clicking Apply. If you want to update older applications, click Update.

   Applications that are out-of-date are updated automatically
   DSM installs/uninstalls the applications as required. Depending on the status of the installation, there are different installation settings required.
