Working with the Configuration Table
The configuration table allows you to change the configuration by:
- Making general settings in the context of the respective object
- Changing object properties
In either case you generally have the option of having these settings inherited by child objects. Only a few settings are not inheritable.
To set a value on a particular level, you can define it directly on this level, or the value can be inherited. In the latter case, the value is passed down from the immediate parent level.
Default values exist on the ORG level for many of the settings. You can reset such a value to its default value on the ORG level.
You can also transfer values from one setting to another using Cut, Copy and Paste.
