Inheriting Value from the Parent Object (Configuration Table)

To inherit a configuration value from a parent object proceed as follows:

1. Open the Infrastructure view.
2. Select the site structure object in the navigation window which should inherit the parent object’s value.
3. Open the ICDB by clicking Open .
4. Click the Inheritance button to the left of the value. The following selection list is displayed.
5. Select Inherit value to inherit the value again from the parent object.
6. If the object contains child objects where the value can be passed on, the inheritance dialog appears (as it does when changing the value).
