Starting the Rollout

The procedure for starting the rollout of a package is as follows:

  1. Select the desired package in the Software Library.

    All the policies for this package are now displayed in the Details window.

  2. Select the desired policy or one of the associated policy instances and then choose the Start Rollout task.

    This action will cause the status to change to Active. This means that when new policies are supplied, the package can be installed again on the computers.

    When a policy is set to active, none of the associated policy instances are modified. Your status is retained.
