Defining Computer Prerequisites (Client)

To edit the prerequisites for the installation of a package, proceed as follows:

1. The Define Computer Prerequisites dialog is opened in the Packaging Workbench by using the respective task.
   
   
2. To add a permission, right-click the appropriate tab. Select the desired entry. Click Add.
   • If you have selected a network prerequisite, the entry is added immediately.
     For network prerequisites, the option Omit context information is enabled by default. To make sure that the prerequisites is unique, we recommend disabling the option.
     Press F2 to edit all entries directly, for example if you want to enter users in the network conditions which are not displayed in the selection or if you want to enter wild cards (*).
   • If you have selected a prerequisites condition, a dialog is displayed in which you make the appropriate specifications.

3. Click Edit to edit an entry later.
4. Click Include/Exclude to select or deselect a condition for an existing entry.
