Cut, Copy and Insert the Commands in the Script Editor
Using the icons, you can cut
out one or more commands, copy
them onto the clipboard or paste
them from the clipboard. You can also copy and
insert with the keyboard.
Proceed as follows:
- Select the desired commands. Pressing the Shift key and left-clicking your mouse allows you to select several consecutive commands. Pressing Ctrl key and left-clicking your mouse allows you to select several individual commands.
- Select
the desired action: cut (
) or copy (Ctrl+C or
). The selected commands are copied onto the clipboard.
- Now
you can paste the commands into other locations. You can also copy the
commands into another script. To do this, open the corresponding script
window. Select the command in front
of where you want to place the cut or copied command(s), and press Ctrl
+ V or
.
Several commands are always inserted one right after the other (as a "closed block") even when you have cut or copied several commands that do not directly follow each other.
To paste the commands at the end of the script select the line following the last command.
