Using Configuration Modules

Configuration modules are used as a way of specifying recurring settings for computers conveniently and quickly. They include, for example, desktop settings and display options.

The procedure for using configuration modules to specify computer settings is as follows:

  1. Open the Configuration Items view in the Packaging Workbench of a Configuration Package.
  2. Select one configuration module and drag it to the window on the right-hand side.
  3. Specify the value of the configuration module.
  4. Repeat this procedure for other configuration modules, as required.
  5. Close the dialog.

    6. Configuration modules are only available in packages of type Configuration Package.
