Adding a Revision

After a package has been released, the edited revision of the package is saved and can no longer be changed.
If any changes should subsequently be necessary, a new revision must first be created.

The procedure for creating a new revision of a package is as follows:

  1. Select the desired software folder in the Software Library.
  2. Choose the desired package in the Object window.
  3. Choose the Add revision task and then follow the wizard.

    4. Once a new package revision has been released, existing policies will not be updated to the new revision.
    If you want to use the existing policies to install the new revision, you must modify the policies accordingly. For further information see: Updating a Policy
