Creating an  Icon  Package

An icon package contains a number of icons you can use to display software packages. You can assign a specific icon from an icon package to another software package. This allows you to add an individual icon to software packages in the Software Shop.

How to create an Icon Package:

  1. Select the software folder in the Software Library.
  2. Select the task Create an Application Package > Icon Package and follow the wizard.
  3. Enter a package name.
  4. Select the icons you want and finish the wizard.
The icons must be stored as PNG or JPG and should also have 150x150 pixels for an ideal display.

The icon package is stored in the selected software folder. You can select the icons in the package from the Icon (End User) package property. Note that the distribution must be specified accordingly. It is not necessary to release the package.

Use the configuration variable Default Icon Package for every container in the Software Library to specify which icon package is displayed as default package when the user edits the package property Icon (End User) for a package in this container.
If required, you can change or add icons in the package's Properties dialog.
