Driver Installation Method 1: Selecting installed Plug & Play devices

To create a Driver Package by selecting installed devices, proceed as follows:

1. Select the desired software folder in the Software Library.
2. Choose the task Automate > Driver Installation.
3. Choose the option Driver Package file/folder or Driver Package from current computer.
4. Follow the wizard in order to select the desired Plug & Play devices.
5. The DSMC checks whether packages already exist for installing one of the permitted devices. If one does, a hint appears for each device concerned. If wished, you can change the device selection (back to previous step).

   The package is created. Depending on the method selected drivers are stored in one or more packages.
   As the package name, the DSMC uses the first name in alphabetical order from the list of selected devices.
