Definition

Use this command to read the server name of the resource connected to the specified local drive to a variable (ClosedBackground).

Names of drives and printers in a network are based on a logical assignment of network path and a local name.
The command GetServer can be used to determine the server of a connected resource..

The server name will be stored in a user-defined, local variable and is valid for the complete installation package and for all other installation packages called by the current installation package.

Settings

Input

  • Local drive letter
    Enter the name of the local drive the resource is connected to.
  • Variable name
    Enter the name of the variable with or omitting the % sign.
