Language independent

With permission commands, the accounts EVERYONE/INTERACTIVE... and the local standard groups (administrators, main users etc.) are language independent.
By using an internal SID instead of an object name, the commands can be used on workstations that operate with different system languages - thus making the command "language independent.” When editing a command in the Manager or when executing the package script, the SIDs are translated to the corresponding object names.

The following commands are language independent:

  • ChangeNTFSAuditInfo
  • ChangeNTFSSecurity
  • ChangeRegSecurity
  • LocalUserAddToGroups
  • LocalGroupAddMembers
  • LocalGroupRemoveMembers
