Description:

Ivanti DSM uses different information to identify and search for an object: SmBiosGUID, Security Identifier (SID), MAC address (MAC) or the Full Qualified Domain Name (FDQN). Depending on the setting you select, the system searches for the selected identification type first; if you select the setting Hardware first, the system searches for the SmBiosGUID first, with OS first it searches for the SID first. If the system cannot find any of these values, it uses AutoInsert if this option is enabled.
