Packaging Workbench - Overview
This window displays the "actual content" of a package. Dialog-driven editing of the package is possible. The window has different views for editing the individual aspects of the package.
To edit a package, in the Software Library first select a package and then choose the task Edit Package....
A package
can only be edited as long as it has not yet been released. After that,
a new revision must be created before you can do any editing.
Selection Window
This window pane shows the available views for specifying the package settings and the starting point for further editing.
Work Window
The right window pane of the Packaging Workbench is the actual work area where you can start various tasks, specify components, manage installation parameters or create scripts. Depending on the selected and available task in the Selection window, the work window pane looks different.
Depending on the licensed DSM module there may be further views in the Packaging Workbench. Please refer to the documentation on the respective module for further information.
