System requirements

Before you run Package Studio, you need to meet some configuration requirements for your Microsoft Windows devices.

Operating System

Package Studio is supported on the following Windows operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows 10 x86 or x64
• Microsoft Windows 11 x86 or x64
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (R2)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016
• Microsoft Windows Server 2019
• Microsoft Windows Server 2022

You need Administrative privileges to run Package Studio.

Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended

For Windows 10 and Windows 11, Windows Server 2012 up to 2022, enable the Windows feature .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0). .NET Framework 4.6 Advanced Services is enabled by default.

The Package Studio setup verifies whether you’ve installed or enabled the .NET Framework.

Compatibility

• Ivanti Endpoint Manager 2017.3 Service Update 3 and newer are supported.
• Microsoft Configuration Manager 2012R2 and newer are supported.
• Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2012, 2013 and newer are supported.
• ZENworks 11.4.x and newer are supported.
