Configuring the Client API Token Expiration Setting

Summary: This article describes how to change the client-level setting for API token expiration.

You need Client Settings Control to configure the client settings.

API authorization tokens give users the ability to automate tasks with the Ivanti Neurons API. Clients can control how long API tokens will last before they expire. By default, a token will expire 365 days from date of creation.

To change this setting, go to Client Settings from the navigation bar.

Click Security on the left to access security client settings, including API Token Expiration. From here, you can set the lifespan of a token between 30 and 365 days.

Wait a few moments. You will see a snackbar informing you that you have successfully changed the setting. If you plan to generate your own API token right after changing this setting, refresh your browser first.
