Creating a Collection

Summary: This article describes how to create a finding collection.

Users have the option to create two types of collections: filter-based collections or Group By-based collections. You can create a collection either on the Host Findings page or the Application Findings page.

To create a collection, you must first apply a filter. If you want to create a collection based on a Group By, you must also apply a Group By in addition to a filter.

Next, access Actions > Collections. To create a new collection, click on Create Collection.

Within the Create Collection dialogue, provide the following:

  • A name (cannot exceed 45 characters)
  • A description (cannot exceed 100 characters)

Once you have provided the required fields, the Create button will become available. Click Create to submit.
