Set Person Attributes and Identifiers

Add the Set Person Attributes and Identifiers action to assign specific values to the person attributes and people identifiers of the subscriber to the service. The value of each person attribute and people identifier is based on the value of the service attribute to which it is mapped. These values are preserved when the subscriber unsubscribes from the service.

Explanation and Tips

Action Name

Optionally specify a friendly name for the action. This name must be unique in the workflow.

Person attributes & Identifier

Specify the relevant people attributes and identifiers for this action. You can then map person attributes and identifiers to service attributes.

Person attributes

  • If the service attribute resolves in an empty value, this leads to an empty person attribute value.

Person identifiers

For people identifiers, you can use the following operations to specify how a service attribute value should be used:

  • Select Overwrite to overwrite the value of the people identifier with the value of the service attribute.
    • If a people identifier definition contains multiple entries, they are overwritten by the single value of the service attribute.
    • If the service attribute resolves in an empty value, the action fails.
    • If the people identifier is linked to a service attribute, the action fails.
  • Select Add to add an entry to the people identifier; existing entries are not deleted.
    • If the value of a service attribute resolves in a non-unique people identifier value, the action fails.
    • If the people identifier is linked to a service attribute, the action fails.
  • Select Remove to remove an entry of the people identifier that corresponds to the value of the service attribute.
    • If the people identifier is linked to a service attribute, the action fails.
  • Select Remove all to remove all entries of the specified people identifier.
    • If the people identifier is linked to a service attribute, the action fails.
