Configure Classifications Data Connections

Use Classifications Data Connections to synchronize classifications.

In the Data Source field, specify the Data Source that contains the external data that you want to synchronize.

Field	Explanation and Tips
Look up people on	Specify the method that identifies people in Identity Director AND the external data.
Using data field	Specify the field or column in the external data that stores this method.
Assign people to	Specify the organizational context to which you want to assign the people.
Look up on	Specify the method that identifies organizational context in the external data.
Using data field	Specify the field or column in the external data that stores this method. Click to create a custom mapping by combining multiple fields from the Data Source, and/or using functions.
Path separator	Specify the separator that is used in the external data. This field is only relevant if the data connection looks up on Name or Path + Name.
Allow deletes	Additional synchronization option, particularly useful if you have synchronized the data connection before.

View information about the previous synchronization, including its duration and the number of affected records.
