Data Connections and Data Sources

  • In Building Blocks of data connections, the associated data sources and any organizations are also included.
  • In Building Blocks of data sources, credentials of the Security context fields are not included. You need to set these credentials again after you import the Building Block.
  • Select Include images to include any images used in services and branding themes.
  • Select Include Global Attribute values to include global attribute values.
    • If you select the option, all global attributes referenced in the selected services are included in the Building Block, including their values.
    • If you clear the option, all global attributes referenced in the selected services are still included in the Building Block, but not their values. This makes it easier to exchange Building Blocks that contain global attributes with other users, without having to worry about unintentionally sharing restricted company data. If you import such a Building Block, a message is shown that the Building Block does not contain any global attribute values.
