Configure text global attributes

In the Management Portal at Data Model > Global Attributes, configure Global Attributes. Configure text global attributes to store a text value.

Configuration

Field	Explanation and Tips
Name	Specify a name that is unique for all attribute types.
Value	Specify a value of the global attribute.

Placeholders

When you insert a text global attribute as a placeholder in workflow actions, you can retrieve its value:

Placeholder	Explanation
#Global[{attributename}]	Resolve the value of the text global attribute.
#Global[{attributename}.Description]	Resolve the description of the attribute, e.g. "This attribute stores the name of the new user."
