Creating a Linux Patch Group

Security Controls provides the ability to use a patch group to scan for and deploy a particular set of patches.

Try it yourself

  1. Click New > Linux Patch > Patch Group.
  2. In the Name box, type Sample Linux Patch Group.

  3. Click Add.
  4. On the Linux Patch Group Editor dialog, select one or more patches in the grid and then click Add patch.
    For example, you might select a few of the most current patches. In a real-life scenario you might select the most recent patches that have been approved by your organization for deployment.
  5. Click Close to close the Linux Patch Group Editor dialog.
  6. Click Save.
