Upgrading
Customers with ITAM versions earlier than 2021.3 must manually apply the one time ITAM upgrade packages, available on the Ivanti Marketplace. You will find instructions there for how to download the packages. It's highly recommended that you stay current on these updates. There's also a category of optional content packages that you may want to apply. For details, see Optional content packages.
Auto-upgrade from version 2025.2
From Enterprise Service Management version 2025.2, customers using ITAM version 2021.3 or later are automatically upgraded to the latest ITAM version.
Post-upgrade Validation
Existing Layout Updates
The latest ITAM package includes changes to following OOTB layouts. During the upgrade, new child tabs may be added to existing layouts. This can:
•Reorganize the order of child tabs
•Replace existing child tabs
To ensure that customizations remain retained, you must validate the impacted layouts after the upgrade. Verify the following:

Each child tab is associated with the correct object
