Configuration Management: Software License

This topic applies to systems using an Asset Manager or Universal license only.

The Software License process is a process for the Software License CI type that provides a basic Software License lifecycle.

When you first create an instance of a Software License process, you can specify a License Type, License Metric and Entitlement Type (see Reference lists for information about adding items to a reference list, and Reference lists for information about the items included by default). You can also add information about the dates when the license is available and maintained, and financial information.
