Lease Management

Lease Management allows users to perform such tasks as querying lease dates or obtaining the lease information of leased machines. This is done by comparing pertinent information regarding networked machines to information in a csv file supplied by the lease provider.

Importing Leasing Information
  1. In the Ivanti® Management Suite console, right-click on All Devices and select Importing Leasing Information from the drop down menu.
  2. Enter the location of the csv file and click Open.

In order to search for lease information on leased machines, the csv file is required to contain the following minimum search criteria

  • Mfr. (Manufacturer) serial number
  • Model
  • Manufacturer
  • Lease start date - all dates must be in the following format: day/month/year (for example: 22/2/2008)
  • Expected lease end date - all dates must be in the following format: day/month/year (for example: 22/2/2008)
  • Contract / supplement number

The Mfr. serial number, Model, and Manufacturer fields are used to match the imported lease machine with the information from the inventory scanner.

NOTE: The type field is not required, but if it is present it will be combined with the Model field in order to synch up with the scanner data.

Whenever an error occurs while importing a csv file it is logged in the console.exe.log file located in the ManagementSuite directory on the core.
