Ivanti Antivirus Action Center/Licensing help

Use this dialog box to configure the main Ivanti Antivirus features in your Ivanti network environment.

You can specify the Ivanti Antivirus product license key expiration time frame and scan target devices for compliance, import a new valid license key, check the status of the current antivirus definition (pattern) files on your core server, and download the latest antivirus definition files.

About the Ivanti Antivirus Action Center dialog box

This dialog box contains the following options:

• Acknowledge that other antivirus software will be removed: Specifies that you agree that the Ivanti Antivirus installation process will remove any other detected antivirus software from targeted devices.
• Ivanti Antivirus license key required: You need a valid Ivanti Antivirus license in order to install and use the full Ivanti Antivirus product on your network.
  • Import new license: Lets you import a valid Ivanti Antivirus license key to activate the product on your core server.
• Check whether any clients are nearing license expiration: You can scan the managed devices on your network configured with Ivanti Antivirus to see if their license key is close to its expiration date.
  • Change: Lets you specify the number of days remaining before your Ivanti Antivirus license key expires.
  • Import new license: Lets you import a valid Ivanti Antivirus license key to activate the product on your core server.
  • View clients: Lets you see which managed devices are within the specified threshold for Ivanti Antivirus license key expiration.
• Antivirus definitions are up to date: Indicates whether the antivirus definitions (pattern or signature files) on your core server are up to date (according to your specified time frame) or not.
  • Change...: Lets you specify the number of days remaining during which time the existing antivirus definition (pattern) files currently residing on your core server are considered to be up to date.
  • Go to download updates...: Opens the Download updates dialog where you can configure download settings and perform (schedule) a download antivirus definition files task.
• Automatically show this dialog if antivirus actions are required: Enables the Ivanti Antivirus Action Center dialog to display in the Ivanti console if any of the options' specified parameters listed above are met, thereby triggering an action reminder.

About the Ivanti Antivirus License Information dialog box

Use this dialog to view your current Ivanti Antivirus license information, and import a new license key.

This dialog contains the following options:

• Import new license file:
  • Path: Browse to the Ivanti Antivirus license key you received from Ivanti.
  • Created on: Shows the creation date for the license key.
  • License number: Shows the license key number.
  • License information number: Shows the license information number.
• Current license information:
  • Path: Shows the file path to the Ivanti Antivirus license key.
  • Created on: Shows the creation date for the license key.
  • License number: Shows the license key number.
  • License information number: Shows the license information number.
• Deployment information:
  • Activated nodes: Indicates the number of managed devices which have been configured for Ivanti Antivirus protection and which are running with a valid license key.
  • Maximum count: Indicates the maximum number of managed devices that can be configured for Ivanti Antivirus protection according to the license you received from Ivanti and used to activate the Ivanti Antivirus product on your core server.
  • Earliest expiration: Indicates the date on which the next Ivanti Antivirus license key set to expire will actually expire.
