RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML format that is used to gather live information from different sources and deliver it in summarized format to your desktop. Users can access RSS feeds using an RSS reader, which can be embedded into a dashboard, and which automatically updates with new information.
In addition to using an RSS reader to aggregate information from external web sites, you can also create an RSS feed from a query, so that changing lists of results are delivered to your dashboards or to a separate RSS reader.
For information about using RSS, see RSS Generator. (Please note that this document is available in English only.)
