Rebuild Service Catalog and knowledge search indexes (2016.2, 2017.1)

As part of the upgrade to 2016.2, the Asset Management module has been removed, and all of its objects have been moved to the Configuration Management module. As a result of this change, after upgrading to 2016.2 you must rebuild your Service Catalog and knowledge search indexes.

Also, changes caused by the addition of the Service Catalog ordering functionality (see Setting the order of items in Service Catalog) mean that after upgrading to V2017.1 you must rebuild your Service Catalog index.

To rebuild the Service Catalog and knowledge indexes:
  1. In Ivanti Console, start the Knowledge Management Administration component.
  2. Display the Knowledge Settings.
  3. In the Actions list, click Rebuild Knowledge.
    The knowledge search indexes are rebuilt.
  4. Click Rebuild Service Catalog.
    The Service Catalog search indexes are rebuilt.
