Web Access windows in Views

When you have enabled windows for Web Access, you need to update your View rules so that the correct window appears in Web Access. You can either do this for each individual window using the Window Rule Maintenance dialog (see Creating views), or you can use the Web Desk Window Rules Tool to update all of the View rules. This tool updates each Window Rule that specifies a window that has been enabled for Web Access to use the same window in Web Access, unless a different window has already been specified using the Window Rule Maintenance dialog.

To use the Web Access Window Rules Tool:
  1. From the C:\Program Files\LANDesk\Service Desk\Console folder, start Touchpaper.Tools.PrepareWebDeskWindowRule.exe.
    The Web Desk Window Rules Tool starts.
  2. Enter the login details for the SA account, then click Login.
  3. Click Update Rules.
    The Window Rules are updated.

You can now use the Window Rule Maintenance dialog to make any final changes to your Web Access Views.
