Logging a process

You log processes (for example, requests, problems, or changes) in Self Service by clicking the appropriate link in the Shortcut bar.

To log a new process:
  1. In the Shortcut bar, click the required shortcut.
    The process window appears in the document area.

Each process has a configurable Details window that you use to capture the initial information. The Details window that you see could be different from that seen by other users, depending on their role, for example.

  1. Complete the Details window as required, then click Save.
    The process is saved and the Actions panel appears. If you are logged in as an analyst, the History panel also appears.
