Xtraction 2025.1

New for 2025.1

Xport Functionality Now Available via CLI– The functionality previously handled by the Xport application can now be performed using the Command Line Input (CLI). This includes export functionality, import functionality, and the export folder command. Each is supported by a distinct set of CLI to execute the desired actions.

Sync Tool Early Version Deprecation– This release introduces a completely new version of the Sync Tool with enhanced functionality, including support for additional data sources such as CrowdStrike Falcon, JIRA, Okta, Salesforce, and ServiceNow. Please note that the new version is not backwards compatible with previous releases. As a result, customers using older versions of the Sync Tool will need to uninstall the current version and reinstall the latest version. This new version supports a total of 11 products, with 5 of them newly implemented in this release. Earlier versions are no longer supported, and upgrading through the tool itself is not yet available.
Xtraction is now available for download from the Ivanti License System here. While it will remain accessible from the Community for this release, future versions will be exclusively available through the Ivanti License System.

Customization Tab with Enhanced Data Source Support– The Customization tab has been fully redesigned to enhance support for customizing data sources, initially focusing on ITSM, ITAM, JIRA, and ServiceNow. In many applications, custom fields added through the front-end interface are automatically included in the list of fields retrievable via APIs. The new version of the Sync Tool extends this functionality by enabling users to add additional fields, offering increased flexibility in managing data. Additionally, users can create multiple custom tables for improved organization and integration. Please note, this feature may not be available in all applications.
In addition to the updates in the Customization tab, customization features have also been integrated into the ITSM/ITAM Import tab (previously referred to as the ISM/IAM Import tab). This updated tab now displays all custom tables—along with any non-default tables—providing users with a clearer and more comprehensive view of their data sources.
