Report Designer

The Xtraction custom report designer allows you to create reports based on standard SQL that runs outside of the Xtraction Component framework. The report designer is typically only used when the features and functionality of Xtraction do not allow you create the specific type of report that is required. A typical customer will never make use of the report designer since the inherent functionality contained in Xtraction will usually suffice for almost all reporting needs.

The Report Designer allows you to create new reports from scratch, bind them to data, and even pass them to another workstation and load them into another instance of the report designer. In addition to report editing capabilities, you are also able to use the Print Preview option and send its output to a printer or export it to a file on disk.
