Using multiple columns on a dashboard

Initially, a dashboard has a single column. You can add further columns and add gadgets to these columns, or even set gadgets to span multiple columns if required.

• To add a new column, right-click the dashboard, then click Add new column.
  A new column is added at the right of the dashboard.
• To remove a column, right-click the column that you want to remove, then click Remove column.
  You are asked to confirm that you want to delete the column and all of the gadgets in the column. Any gadgets that span multiple columns and are partly in the column that you are removing are also deleted.
• To change the width of a column, drag the border between the two columns.
• To make a gadget span columns, click in the gadget's title bar, then click Properties.
  In the Column span box, type the number of columns that you want the gadget to span, then click OK. You can configure a gadget to span only those columns to the right of its current position.
