Embedded web pages

In addition to providing links to web pages and documents that are separate to your Service Desk or Asset Manager system, you can also embed entire web pages into a dashboard using the Web Page gadget in Web Access. For example, you could embed an event-monitoring map from an external feed into a dashboard to give immediate, in-context access to information about the systems you are supporting.

Embedded web pages are best used if the embedded page is quite simple, as sometimes more complicated pages can involve code that needs the page to be at the top level, and not embedded in another page. We recommend that you test these sorts of pages before making them available to ensure that you are getting the behavior that you are expecting.
