Troubleshooting configurations

If you are having trouble with your configuration, consider checking the following:

  • Look in the Audit logs ( see About Ivanti EPMM logs) and / or MDM logs (see MDM Activity). Look for the managed app configuration installation request. Once there, note what the error statement is.

  • Depending upon the error, in order to proceed, you will need to consider:

  • Is the app configuration correct? If not, can it be corrected?
  • Is the "managed app" actually not managed?
  • Is the managed app the wrong version?
  • Is a substitution variable not being updated in the managed app configuration? What type of substitution variable was it? See Supported variables.
