Configuring file transfer on Ivanti Neurons for MDM
Docs@Work can now receive files pushed from Ivanti Neurons through file transfer configuration. When the file is received, the user is notified on where to save the file.

To configure file transfer for Docs@Work on Ivanti Neurons for MDM follow these steps:
Procedure

In the Ivanti Neurons for MDM, go to Configurations > +Add > Search for File Transfer.

Select the File Transfer option and update the following fields:

Name: FT1

File to transfer : Upload any file (for example: file1_temp.pdf )

Select the “Transfer using On-device Intent” option.

Enter the package name: com.mobileiron.android.docsatwork.

Under Intents - Standard enter the below details and save the configuration and perform Force Device Checkin on Ivanti Neurons for MDM registered device.
- Operation Type : Broadcast
- Action: com.mobileiron.orion.android.FILE_TRANSFER
- Category: com.mobileiron.orion.android.category.FILE_TRANSFER
- MIME type: application/pdf

Upload the MIME files. For more information on supported MIME types, see MIME-type

Launch the Docs@Work app, wait for File Transfer configuration to be pushed and verify if the Notification is displayed with the file name.

Click on the Notification and to choose the destination location to save the file under Docs@Work > My Files location.

Save and open the received file.
If you want to send new file as document file type then go to File Transfer configuration and upload “file2.docx” file and update the corresponding MIME Type from the URL and save the configuration and then perform Force Device Check in on Ivanti Neurons for MDM.
