Email document links from [email protected]

Device users can now email or copy a link to a document from within [email protected] The recipient of the email must have the correct permissions to view the document. However, the recipient does not need [email protected] to open the document.

A secure email client is required on the device. For iOS, the native email client is required. For Android, the feature is supported with Email+.

The Email a Link and Copy Link to Clipboard options are available when you open the document.

Uses Box APIs to create a public shareable link to the document.

The URL is of the form:

WebDAV network drive or cloud storage

The URL of the document corresponds to the WebDAV http or https URL.

The URL is of the form:

https://webdavserver.documents.mydoc.docx.
