About configuring Ivanti Email+ for Android

You configure settings for Email+ in the UEM platform. Because the UEM platform provides these settings to the app, device users do not have to manually enter configuration details. By automating the configuration for device users, each user has a better experience when installing and setting up the app. Also, the enterprise has fewer support calls, and the app is secured from misuse due to configuration.

The Email+ settings include, for example:

• the Standalone Sentry that interacts with the ActiveSync server or the ActiveSync server if you are not using Standalone Sentry.
• the user’s ID for the ActiveSync server.
• the SCEP or certificate setting for the certificate that the device presents to the Standalone Sentry for authentication, if you are using certificates for authentication.
• custom app configurations that allow administrators to control app behavior.
