Creating Contact Lists

Use contact lists to configure the people who should receive alert information about their assigned servers or server groups.

To create a contact list:


  1. Click Settings.

  2. Click Contact List.

  3. Click +Add.

  4. Provide a name and description of the contact list.
  5. Select a severity to associate with the contact group. You can use this setting to determine which alerts, Any Severity, Critical, Warning, Information, are sent to contact groups.
  6. Click Add to add a contact modality.
  7. Use the resultant fields to select a modality and configure associated contact details.
  8. Click Save.
