Managing Server Diagnostics
You can:
- Configure the period of inactivity that designates servers as inactive.
- Remove inactive servers from the list of monitored servers.
Configuring Inactivity Period
You can configure the period of inactivity that designates servers as inactive, and the frequency that Monitor checks for inactive servers.
To configure the period of inactivity that designates servers as inactive, and the frequency that Monitor checks for inactive servers:
Procedure

Click Settings.

Click Server Diagnostics.

Click Config.

Configure the inactive server settings:
- Specify how long a server must be inactive before being designated at inactive for the purposes of server diagnostics.
- Specify how often to check for inactive servers.

Place a check mark in the check box to notify associated contact lists of the server's removal.

Click Save.
Removing Inactive Servers
You can remove inactive servers from the list of monitored servers. Note that removing a server from monitoring removes all associated server information from Monitor.
To remove inactive servers from the list of monitored servers:
Procedure
- Click Settings.
- Click Server Diagnostics.

Click the trash can icon adjacent to the server to remove.
- Click OK on the resultant confirmation dialog.
