H1 Title for reference
This is a template for a reference topic. Use a noun phrase for reference topics in H1 heading style. The title should identify that the topic includes supplemental, reference information. For example: Keyboard shortcut keys, Database monitoring commands, CLI Configuration window etc.
A few sentences go here to describe what the reference topic is about. Often, a reference topic is a table, but it could be a bulleted list, or a figure, or something else appropriate.
Here is an example of a reference table:
Settings Menu |
Task |
Software updates |
Upgrade, configure, and manage software versions. |
ul.tablebulletlist |
|
ol.tablenumberedlist |
|
Clear Configuration |
Clear unsaved configuration settings and return to the default configuration |
System Storage |
Monitor disk storage availability |
While on the subject of tables, the paragraph type p.TableTitleNoNumber allows you to create a table with a title but with not "Table X:". I use this in the Derived Credential Guides to indicate for every task the provider and OS it applies to.
