Obtaining the release

To obtain the software, refer to the knowledge base article, New Ivanti Reporting Database RDB with Monitor release available.

Before Upgrading from 2.1.0.0 to 2.2.0.0

Before upgrading from 2.1.0.0 to 2.2.0.0, run the https://support.mobileiron.com/rdb/2.1.0.0/rdb_2.1.0.0_upgrade_fix-1.0-4.el7.noarch.rpm on the 2.1.0.0 environment:

  1. Login into CLI.

  2. Select enable and enter your password.

  3. Run the command:

    install rpm url https://support.mobileiron.com/rdb/2.1.0.0/rdb_2.1.0.0_upgrade_fix-1.0-4.el7.noarch.rpm 

Upgrade 2.0.x.x to 2.1.0.0 from the CLI

To upgrade from a 2.0.x.x to 2.1.0.0, you must use the CLI CLISH commands. See the Core Command Line Interface guide for complete CLISH command information.

To upgrade using CLISH:

Procedure 

  1. Login into CLI.
  2. Select enable and enter your password.
  3. Run the configure terminal command: configure terminal
  4. Run the following command to add the software repository: software repository <url> <username> <password>
  5. Run the following command to exit the terminal: end

  6. Run the following commands to check and update the software update:

    • software checkupdate
    • software update
  7. Run the reload command: reload.
