Limitations
These are cumulative release notes. If a release does not appear in this section, then there were no associated limitations.
-
AP-5805: Because pushing an Extensible SSO configuration requires requires MDM, MAM-only deployments will see the Pasteboard. Device users will see the Pasteboard pop-ups on iOS 16 devices for AppConnect apps.
- AP-5781: AppConnect apps can expose data to other apps if the device user selects text and uses context menu items like "Translate" or "Search on Web."
App developers can block such menu items, if required, using the canPerformAction:withSender: API - https://developer.apple.com/documentation/uikit/uiresponder/1621105-canperformaction.
- AP-5780: AppConnect apps signed with development certificates require enabling Developer Mode on iOS 16 (under Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode.)
-
APG-1208: For iOS 15 devices, unable to install wrapped app when signed on macOS ("Catalina").
Workaround: Applications that were signed on macOS 10.15 ("Catalina") or older should be re-signed using macOS 11.x ("Big Sur") or newer. For more information, see https://forums.ivanti.com/s/article/iOS-15-In-House-Enterprise-Apps-Fail-to-Install

- AP-5653: If an AppConnect app with MI_AC_ACCESS_GROUP key in its Info.plist file is retired, the app must be relaunched or the checkin time interval must expire in order to switch from Retired to Authenticated state.
- APG-1200: The AppConnect SDK only supports apps using the 'UIKit App Delegate' Life Cycle. Apps using the newer 'SwiftUI App' LIfe Cycle are not supported, and AppConnect will fail to initialize.
