Inventory MAC address

To preserve device user privacy, on Android 7+ devices, Ivanti EPMM accepts a randomized MAC address for inventory purposes. Inventory MAC is the hardware-based MAC that is reported after a device is registered and is only available for company-owned modes, namely Device Owner mode and Work Profile on Company Owned Devices. Inventory MAC supports substitution variables.

Procedure 

1. In Ivanti EPMM, go to Admins and select an admin.
2. Select Actions > Edit Roles.
3. Under the Privacy Control section, select the View device IP and MAC address check box and Save your settings.
4. After pushing to devices, you can view the Inventory MAC in the Device Details page, or conduct a search. For more information, see Advanced searching
