Support for Bridge Server Failure Recovery

In rare cases, the Bridge Service may stop at irregular intervals without any known reason. In Ivanti EPMM 11.6.0.0, Bridge service failure recovery is pre-configured, thus allowing device users to continue using the Bridge Service without any major issues. The new version of the Bridge application version of 2.1.14.0 will get imported into the App Catalog for Ivanti EPMM 11.6.0.0+. This Bridge version will then get pushed to Windows devices as they check in.

Recovery options

In the case of a Bridge Service failure, the following behavior will occur (no action from the administrator needed):

• First failure - Restart the service

• Second failure - Restart the service

• Subsequent failures - Restart the service

• Reset fail counter after - 1 day (By default, the value is 1, the administrator can update the number of days)

• Restart service after - 0 minutes (By default, the value is 1, the administrator can update the number of minutes)

The Bridge Service should restart if it has stopped without any known reason.
