Adding the Intercede derived credential app for Android to the App Catalog

To use Intercede derived credentials on Android devices, device users use the derived credential app provided by Intercede to obtain the derived credentials. This app is an AppConnect app.

Before you begin

Get the Intercede derived credential app APK file from Intercede. Put the app on your computer.

Procedure

In the Admin Portal, go to Apps > App Catalog.
Select Android from the Platform list.
Click Add+ to open the app wizard.
Click In-house.
Click Browse to navigate to APK file.
Click Next.
Optionally add a description and select a category.
Click Next.
Optionally change Apps@Work catalog options, and the icon and screenshots.
Click Next.
Make sure the Mandatory setting is selected. It is the default selection.
Click Finish.

Apply the appropriate labels to the app as follows:

Select the app in the App Catalog.
Select Actions > Apply to Labels.
Select the labels associated with devices to which you want to send the app.
Click Apply.
