Box

  • Box personal sites are supported.

Box enterprise

Only Box enterprise can be configured as a Group site. Configuring personal Box sites as Group sites is not supported.

Dropbox

  • Only user added sites are supported.

Dropbox cannot be configured as a Group site.

For CIFS,

  • CIFS traffic must be tunneled through Standalone Sentry.
  • Docs@Work supports SMB 1.0 and SMB 2.0. for accessing CIFS shares. If you are using Windows 2012 r2 servers, you have to update the registry to allow SMB traffic. In Windows 2012 r2 servers SMB is disabled by default.

Docs@Work supports the following:

  • SMB 1.0 for Standalone Sentry 9.1.0 and older versions.
  • SMB 2.0 for Standalone Sentry 9.2.0 and newer versions.

Supported authentication to content repositories

Docs@Work supports the following authentication types from the client to the content repository:

  • Basic: SharePoint, WebDAV, DFS
  • NTLM: SharePoint, WebDAV
  • Kerberos constrained delegation (KCD): SharePoint, WebDAV, CIFS

CIFS is supported for KCD from Standalone Sentry 9.1.0 through the most recently released version.

  • OAuth2: Box, Dropbox
  • Federated Authentication: SharePoint
  • Derived Credentials (Entrust PIV-D certificates, p12 certificates): SharePoint/ADFS
