Importing Files and Attachments

Docs@Work allows you to import files or attachments directly in an open remote site, any remote site, or your My Files directory.

Procedure 

  1. Go to the location, where your files are stored in the device.

  2. Select the file or files you want to import.

    You can select a single file or multiple files for import.

  3. Tap the Share icon.

  4. Choose Docs@Work application from the list of apps.

  5. Select one of the following import options based on the following scenarios :

    When the user is at a specific remote site path

    • Import to Current Site: Files begin importing directly into the current remote site path.

    • Import to Remote Site : It displays a list of all configured sites, allowing the user to select a path for file import.

    • Import to My Files: Importing to My Files will follow the existing process.

    • Cancel: Select Cancel if you want to cancel the operation.

    When the user is on the Sites, My Files, Recent, and Starred tabs the following options are available

    • Import to Remote Site: It displays a list of all configured sites, allowing the user to select a path for file import.

    • Import to My Files: Importing to My Files will follow the existing process.

    • Cancel: Select Cancel if you want to cancel the operation.

If the app is open while the user is navigating away to other sections of the device:
The current upload will be cancelled.
To continue the import, the user will need to restart it after returning to the app.

Importing Multiple Files
When importing multiple files, the” Locate the Import File” will not appear. This is the normal behavior when you're importing multiple files into My Files.
