PDF signing with Purebred Certificate
The Ivanti Dos@Work for iOS app now supports PDF signing using Purebred Certificate on Ivanti EPMM and Ivanti Neurons for MDM.
Configuring PDF signing with Purebred Certificate on Ivanti EPMM
The following steps describe how to configure PDF signing with Purebred Certificate:
Procedure

Login to the Ivanti EPMM Admin portal.

To create a new Client_provided cert configuration for Signing purpose, go to Policies & Configurations > Configurations > Add New > Certificate Enrollment > Client Provided and select the following:

Type: Signing

Brand Name: Purebred

To create a new configuration for the Credential Manager app (PIV-D app), go to Policies & Configurations > Configurations > Add New > AppConnect > App Configuration and select the following:

Add the key-value pair: MI_CREDENTIAL_ENABLE_PUREBRED = True. A new configuration is created and listed under the configuration list.

Select the configuration, go to Actions > Apply to Label.

Select the appropriate label and click Apply.

Create or modify Docs@Work app config with the following:

Add key-value pair: signing_certificate = , select the cert created in Step 2. A new configuration is created and listed under the configuration list.

Select the configuration, go to Actions > Apply to Label.

Select the appropriate label and click Apply.

Configuring the settings on the device
The following steps describe how to configure the Purebred settings on the device:
- Install the Ivanti Mobile@Work and register.
- Open the Purebred app and complete the registration. Check the "status: Certificates loaded to keychain " in the app.
- Install and launch PIV-D Manager app.
- Select DISA purebred option and proceed to Import the keys.
- Launch Ivanti app and observe that Settings > General > Purebred Credential is shown.
- Launch the Ivanti Docs@Work app, import or open the PDF file which has digital signature field.
- Tap on the Signature field.
- Tap Ok on the “Confirmation Add digital signature” popup. The signature is added.
Configuring PDF signing with Purebred Certificate on Ivanti Neurons for MDM
The following steps describe how to configure PDF signing with Purebred Certificate on Ivanti Neurons for MDM:
Procedure

Login to the Ivanti Neurons for MDM Admin portal.

Go Configuration > Add > Identity Certificate.

Enter Certificate name, select configuration distribution as Derived credentials:

Derived credentials usage: Signing

Brand = Purebred
-

Select appropriate values on Distribute page.

Go to Apps > Upload PIV-D manager app and create AppConnect Custom Configuration with MI_CREDENTIAL_ENABLE_PUREBRED = TRUE key-value pair.

Go to Apps > Upload Purebred app.

Go to Apps > Upload Docs@Work app and create Docs@Work config with "signing_certificate = cert key-value pair created in Step 3.
Configuring the settings on the device
The following steps describe how to configure the Purebred settings on the device:
- Install the Ivanti Go app.
- Install and Launch Purebred app (certs will be added to keychain)
- Install and launch the PIV-D app.
- Import certs from the Purebred app to Ivanti Go app.
- Install and launch the Docs@Work app.
- Open a PDF with digital signature field.
- Tap on the Signature field and tap Ok on add confirmation popup.
- Tap Ok on the “Confirmation Add digital signature” popup. The signature is added.
